Respect Life Ministry

Our Respct Life Garden at the corner of the church building
Our parish Respect Life Ministry assists in a special way by helping to make the parish a center of life, a place where parishioners understand the issues and the importance of meeting the needs of those who are most vulnerable – especially mothers and their unborn children. Our ministry should play a vital role in parish life and enjoy the strong support from our Pastor and other key personnel. Our purpose is to coordinate parish respect life activities and to educate parishioners on respect life issues. The responsibilities of our members include to: encourage and support parishioner’s involvement in diocesan Respect Life events and services; to sponsor programs of prayer in the parish for issues related to respecting life; educate and foster awareness for all parishioners about life issues and the need to restore legal protection to the lives of those most vulnerable; keep parishioners informed of upcoming important legislations, organize letter-writing campaigns or similar appropriate activities when important votes are expected; and PRAY for the unborn; those involved in abortion; those hurt by abortion; government officials, and those facing crisis pregnancies.

child, in front of the Blessed Mother.
Ø
